Meeting Summary
The Kyoto edition strengthened the Asian presence of the series after the earlier Shanghai meeting. Its proceedings document research in general relativity, relativistic astrophysics, cosmology, mathematical physics, and experimental gravity at the start of the 1990s, when compact-object astrophysics and observational cosmology were rapidly broadening the field.
